If Obama has a history of bringing adversarial groups or political opponents together to construct, work on and pass controversial, progressive, and important legislation with bi-partisan support, then why shouldn't he believe that he will be able to do so on a greater scale with the leadership role and power of the POTUS? See, that plays in to Obama's successful "look at what I've done" argument on healthcare, ethics reform, tax breaks, etc.<br /><br />Two things about HRC. First, it's beyond weak to argue that a U.S. Senator, on a Iraq Resolution vote involving aggression by the U.S. military, should be given a pass because she did not avail herself of all the information at her disposal prior to that vote... i.e., the NIE report and its conclusions.
