For those Fellows who want to stay in teaching, the union should be their ally. When I was a new hire nine years ago, I was fortunate to have the support of a strong union chapter in my school.<BR/>Our lackluster union contributes to teacher turnover, and is one reason there will be fewer experienced teachers in the classroom.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
